A Restaurant's Opening Week
Coverage across a restaurant's first week open — the room, the plates, and the pace of real service.

The brief
A new restaurant needed a visual library ready before doors opened — the room in good light, the full menu shot to match the kitchen's own standards, and honest coverage of the first week of real service, not a styled recreation of it.
The approach
Two mornings for the room and the plated menu, shot with the same care as a still life — even lighting, deliberate framing, nothing rushed. Then two evenings shadowing service itself: no setup, no direction, just watching for the moments that actually happen when a kitchen is under real pressure for the first time.
What it was for
The room and menu shots became the site and the printed menu. The service coverage went to social — proof the place works the way it says it does, not just that it photographs well when nobody's ordering.
